The purpose of this campaign was to bring Facebook’s iconic ‘wordmark’ to life whilst spotlighting cultural celebrations like Mothers Day and Halloween as well as bringing attention topics like Black History Month and the Climate Crisis.
It was a real privilege to create content that reached such a vast audience.
With that in mind big part of the process was ensuring the designs were as respectful and inclusive as possible.
In addition to designing and animating, I took on a leadership role for many of these projects. This involved guiding small teams of animators from the initial concept stages through to finalising and exporting the animations as code for the Facebook app.
