the happy broadcast

Mauro Gatti, the creator of the world's most positive Instagram account, The Happy Broadcast, reached out to Animade to produce a short film for his book launch. Unlike mainstream media, The Happy Broadcast offers a colourfully refreshing and dazzlingly positive perspective on current affairs.

Using illustrations from the book, I developed a narrative featuring a downbeat character who gets lifted by a blast of positivity. I animated the first three scenes and led a team of animators to bring this joyful project to life.
